Colorado High School Basketball - The Vanguard School crushes Florence

January 25, 2019: Colorado Springs, CO 80905

The Vanguard School Coursers (Colorado Springs, CO) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Florence Huskies (Florence, CO), 87-37 in a league bout.

With the win, The Vanguard School upgrades its record to 11-2 on the season. The Coursers host Platte Valley (Kersey, CO) to play the Broncos in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 26. The Broncos go into the bout with a record of 10-4. Platte Valley won 55-32 in their recent league bout against Estes Park (Estes Park, CO)

Next up, the Huskies play the La Junta Tigers (La Junta, CO) in a 3A Tri-Peaks bout, on Saturday, January 26. Florence will attempt to upgrade on its 0-12 season record. The Tigers go into the bout with a 6-7 record after their 67-56 league loss to James Irwin (Colorado Springs, CO).
