In Friday's league match, the host Salisbury Hornets football squad scored a big 61-0 victory over the East Davidson Golden Eagles.

In their next game, the Hornets clash with the North Davidson Black Knights (Lexington, NC) in a Central Carolina 2A match, on Friday, November 1. Salisbury will attempt to move on its 8-1 season record. The Black Knights enter the match with a 5-4 record after their 42-21 league win over Central Davidson (Lexington, NC).
