North Carolina High School Basketball - Salem Baptist Christian knocked off by East Forsyth
January 8, 2019: Kernersville, NC 27284 The East Forsyth Eagles basketball team scored 69 points and held the visiting Salem Baptist Christian Vikings to 51 in the Eagles non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Eagles now sport a 9-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to West Forsyth for a Central Piedmont 4A contest on Friday, January 11. East Forsyth will meet a Titans team coming off a 51-42 non-league loss to East Surry (Pilot Mountain, NC). The Titans record now stands at 1-10.
The Vikings (8-9) will now prepare for their contest against Carolina Friends (Durham, NC). The Quakers enter the NCISAA Tri-TAC contest with a 1-13 record. In their last contest, Carolina Friends was defeated by Burlington Christian Academy (Burlington, NC), 75-33, in a league contest.
