The Corsicana Tigers (Corsicana, TX) football routed the visiting Kaufman Lions (Kaufman, TX), 40-7 in Friday's league bout.

In their next game, the Tigers face the North Forney Falcons (Forney, TX) in a 5A-2 Region II District 8 bout, on Friday, September 27. Corsicana will attempt to move on its 3-1 season record. The Falcons enter the bout with a 3-1 record after their 33-14 league loss to Ennis (Ennis, TX).

The Lions (0-4) will now prepare for their bout against Greenville (Greenville, TX). The Lions enter the 5A-2 Region II District 8 bout with a 1-2 record. In their last bout, Greenville was crushed by Corsicana (Corsicana, TX), 20-7, in a league bout.
