Nebraska High School Basketball - Scotus tops Aquinas
February 14, 2019: David City, NE 68632 Fans at Thursday's league challenge between the Scotus Shamrocks (Columbus, NE) and the host Aquinas Monarchs (David City, NE), saw Scotus's basketball squad knock off Aquinas by a tally of 68-52.
With the victory, Scotus improves its record to 6-16 on the campaign. The Shamrocks travel to Madison (Madison, NE) to play the Dragons in a C1 District 8 challenge on Monday, February 18. The Dragons come into the challenge with a record of 8-14. Madison lost 83-53 in their recent league challenge against Wisner-Pilger (Wisner, NE)
Next up, the Monarchs play the Bishop Neumann Cavaliers (Wahoo, NE) in a C1 District 4 challenge, on Tuesday, February 19. Aquinas will attempt to improve on its 9-12 season record. The Cavaliers come into the challenge with a 16-7 record after their 63-55 non-league win over Lincoln Christian (Lincoln, NE).
