Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Naselle Comets (Naselle, WA) and the visiting Taholah Chitwhins (Taholah, WA), saw Naselle's basketball squad wallop Taholah by a tally of 74-37.

With the victory, Naselle improves its record to 6-0 on the campaign. The Comets host Willapa Valley (Menlo, WA) to confront the Vikings in a 1B Columbia Valley challenge on Friday, May 14. The Vikings come into the challenge with a record of 4-0. Willapa Valley won 73-19 in their recent non-league challenge against Three Rivers Christian (Longview, WA)

Next up, the Chitwhins confront the North River Mustangs (Cosmopolis, WA) in a 1B Coastal challenge, on Thursday, May 13. Taholah will attempt to improve on its 2-1 season record. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a 2-1 record after their 38-36 non-league loss to Mary M. Knight (Elma, WA).
