September 20, 2018: Rocky Mount, NC 27856 Nash Central Bulldogs (Rocky Mount, NC) supporters were pleased Thursday as they observed their soccer team hold off the visiting Farmville Central Jaguars (Farmville, NC), 2-1 in a league challenge.
Next, the Bulldogs confront the North Pitt Panthers (Bethel, NC) in a 2A Eastern Plains challenge, on Tuesday, September 25. Nash Central will attempt to move on its 4-2 season record. The Panthers enter the challenge with a 0-7 record after their 3-1 non-league loss to SouthWest Edgecombe (Pinetops, NC).
The Jaguars now possess a 1-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Beddingfield for a 2A Eastern Plains challenge on Tuesday, September 25. Farmville Central will confront a Bruins team coming off a 3-2 league loss to North Johnston (Kenly, NC). The Bruins record now stands at 4-2.
