In Friday's non-league match, the host Refugio Bobcats football squad scored a good 38-14 victory over the Mason Punchers.

In their next game, the Bobcats clash with the San Augustine Wolves (San Augustine, TX) in a non-league match, on Thursday, December 14. Refugio will attempt to move on its 12-1 season record. The Wolves enter the match with a 14-0 record after their 50-14 non-league win over Centerville (Centerville, TX).
