Vermont High School Football - Champlain Valley Union felled by Bellows Free Academy
September 20, 2019: St. Albans, VT 05478 The Champlain Valley Union Redhawks football team (Hinesburg, VT), was knocked off 16-7 in Friday's league challenge with the host Bellows Free Academy Bobwhites/Comets (St. Albans, VT)
The Bobwhites/Comets (2-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Hartford (White River Junction, VT). The Hurricanes come into the Division I challenge with a 2-2 record. In their last challenge, Hartford was knocked off by Middlebury (Middlebury, VT), 31-17, in a league challenge.
The Redhawks now sport a 1-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Rice Memorial for a Division I challenge on Saturday, September 28. Champlain Valley Union will meet a Green Knights team coming off a 48-0 league loss to Burlington/South Burlington (Burlington, VT). The Green Knights record now stands at 0-4.
