In Tuesday's league outing, the Bertie Falcons (Windsor, NC) basketball squad nipped the host First Flight Nighthawks (Kill Devil Hills, NC), by a margin of 85-79.

The Falcons (14-9) will now prepare for their outing against Hertford County (Ahoskie, NC). The Bears go into the Northeastern Coastal 2A outing with a 14-9 record. In their last outing, Hertford County got by Northeastern (Elizabeth City, NC), 60-38, in a league outing.

The Nighthawks now own a 15-8 record. They play next when they host Currituck County for a Northeastern Coastal 2A outing on Friday, February 15. First Flight will clash with a Knights squad coming off a 42-37 league win over Pasquotank County (Elizabeth City, NC). The Knights record now stands at 8-15.
