Forbush Falcons (East Bend, NC) boosters left the game thrilled Tuesday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host North Surry Greyhounds (Mount Airy, NC), 3-1 in a league test.

With the win, Forbush improves its record to 8-0 on the season. The Falcons host Surry Central (Dobson, NC) to face the Golden Eagles in a Foothills 2A test on Thursday, September 5. The Golden Eagles go into the test with a record of 7-2. Surry Central lost 3-1 in their recent non-league test against Ashe County (West Jefferson, NC)

The Greyhounds now own a 6-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to West Wilkes for a Foothills 2A test on Thursday, September 5. North Surry will face a Blackhawks squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to North Wilkes (Hays, NC). The Blackhawks record now stands at 6-3.
