Butler Lynx (Chicago, IL) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host IC Catholic Prep Knights (Elmhurst, IL), 62-49 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Butler upgrades its record to 26-9 on the campaign. The Lynx travel to Fieldcrest (Minonk, IL) to play the Knights in a non-league bout on Monday, February 28. The Knights come into the bout with a record of 33-2. Fieldcrest won 52-46 in their recent non-league bout against St. Joseph-Ogden (St. Joseph, IL)
