April 3, 2018: Vanceboro, NC 28586 Farmville Central Jaguars (Farmville, NC) fans exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they observed their baseball squad hold off the host West Craven Eagles (Vanceboro, NC), 9-8 in a non-league test.
With the win, Farmville Central upgrades its record to 6-6 on the season. The Jaguars host SouthWest Edgecombe (Pinetops, NC) to battle the Cougars in a test on Tuesday, April 10. The Cougars come into the test with a record of 8-4. SouthWest Edgecombe won 10-2 in their recent non-league test against J.H. Rose (Greenville, NC)
With the defeat, West Craven falls to 3-9 on the season. The Eagles host Washington (Washington, NC) to battle the Pam Pack in a test on Tuesday, April 10. The Pam Pack come into the test with a record of 8-5. Washington won 15-5 in their recent non-league test against Nash Central (Rocky Mount, NC)
