The Parkland Mustangs basketball team scored 44 points and limited the host R.J. Reynolds Demons to 43 in the Mustangs league triumph on Tuesday.

The Mustangs now possess a 6-11 record. They play next when they host East Forsyth for a 4A Central Piedmont game on Friday, January 31. Parkland will confront a Eagles team coming off a 69-48 league loss to Mount Tabor (Winston-Salem, NC). The Eagles record now stands at 9-4.

With the loss, R.J. Reynolds falls to 5-13 on the campaign. The Demons travel to Glenn (Kernersville, NC) to confront the Bobcats in a 4A Central Piedmont game on Friday, January 31. The Bobcats go into the game with a record of 5-14. Glenn lost 83-64 in their recent league game against West Forsyth (Clemmons, NC)
