Arizona High School Basketball - Copper Canyon tops Odyssey Institute

Copper Canyon Aztecs (Glendale, AZ) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Odyssey Institute Minotaur (Buckeye, AZ), 28-18 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Copper Canyon upgrades its record to 6-11 on the campaign. The Aztecs travel to Coconino (Flagstaff, AZ) to play the Panthers in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 17. The Panthers come into the bout with a record of 4-1. Coconino lost 49-43 in their recent non-league bout against Paradise Honors (Surprise, AZ)

Next up, the Minotaur play the Salome Frogs (Salome, AZ) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, December 17. Odyssey Institute will attempt to upgrade on its 2-8 season record. The Frogs come into the bout with a 6-3 record after their 45-34 league win over San Pasqual Valley (Winterhaven, CA).
