Cypress Falls Eagles (Houston, TX) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Cypress Springs Panthers (Cypress, TX), 65-51 in a league bout.

With the win, Cypress Falls upgrades its record to 22-9 on the season. The Eagles travel to Cypress Lakes (Katy, TX) to play the Spartans in a 5A Region III District 17 bout on Friday, February 8. The Spartans go into the bout with a record of 17-14. Cypress Lakes won 92-85 in their recent league bout against Cy-Ridge (Houston, TX)

Next up, the Panthers play the Cypress Ranch Mustangs (Houston, TX) in a 5A Region III District 17 bout, on Friday, February 8. Cypress Springs will attempt to upgrade on its 14-15 season record. The Mustangs go into the bout with a 10-19 record after their 65-57 league loss to Langham Creek (Houston, TX).
