The Ingomar Falcons basketball team scored 71 points and restricted the visiting Biggersville Lions to 70 in the Falcons non-league victory on Monday.

The Falcons now sport a 15-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Walnut for a 2A Region 1 contest on Friday, January 27. Ingomar will battle a Wildcats team coming off a 64-61 league loss to East Union (Blue Springs, MS). The Wildcats record now stands at 12-8.

The Lions (13-6) will now prepare for their contest against Wheeler (Wheeler, MS). The Eagles come into the 1A Region 1 contest with a 16-2 record. In their last contest, Wheeler edged Jumpertown (Booneville, MS), 90-39, in a league contest.
