In Saturday's league game, the Loyola Academy Ramblers (Wilmette, IL) football team knocked off the visiting Brother Rice Crusaders (Chicago, IL), by a final score of 35-14.

The Ramblers (4-2) will now prepare for their game against Benet Academy (Lisle, IL). The Redwings come into the non-league game with a 6-0 record. In their last game, Benet Academy toppled St. Laurence (Burbank, IL), 21-17, in a league game.

The Crusaders now hold a 4-2 record. They take the field next when they host St. Laurence for a non-league game on Friday, October 11. Brother Rice will battle a Vikings team coming off a 21-17 league loss to Benet Academy (Lisle, IL). The Vikings record now stands at 3-3.
