Texas High School Football - Prestonwood Christian felled by Garland

The Prestonwood Christian Lions football team (Plano, TX), was knocked off 49-21 in Friday's non-league challenge with the visiting Garland Owls (Garland, TX)

The Owls (3-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Wylie (Wylie, TX). The Pirates come into the 6A Region II District 9 challenge with a 0-3 record. In their last challenge, Wylie was knocked off by Plano East (Plano, TX), 34-17, in a non-league challenge.

The Lions now sport a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they host All Saints for a TAPPS Division I District 1 challenge on Friday, September 17. Prestonwood Christian will meet a Saints team coming off a 38-28 non-league win over Archbishop Stepinac (White Plains, NY). The Saints record now stands at 1-1.
