California High School Basketball - Eastside trounced by Whitney
February 19, 2025: Lancaster, CA 93535 Whitney Wildcats (Cerritos, CA) supporters left the game happy Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the host Eastside Lions (Lancaster, CA), 71-33 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Whitney advances its record to 23-8 on the year. The Wildcats travel to Cantwell-Sacred Heart of Mary (Montebello, CA) to face the Cardinals in a non-league match on Saturday, February 22. The Cardinals enter the match with a record of 21-7. Cantwell-Sacred Heart of Mary won 87-68 in their recent non-league match against Temescal Canyon (Lake Elsinore, CA)
The Lions now own a 16-9 record.
