California High School Baseball - Pioneer loses to Homestead
April 30, 2018: Cupertino, CA 95014 The Pioneer Mustangs baseball team (San Jose, CA), was overwhelmed 11-1 in Monday's non-league outing with the host Homestead Mustangs (Cupertino, CA)
The Mustangs now hold a 16-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Mountain View for a De Anza outing on Wednesday, May 2. Homestead will confront a Spartans team coming off a 10-3 non-league win over Saratoga (Saratoga, CA). The Spartans record now stands at 14-10.
Next, the Mustangs confront the Westmont Warriors (Campbell, CA) in a Mount Hamilton outing, on Thursday, May 3. Pioneer will attempt to advance on its 15-8 season record. The Warriors go into the outing with a 10-12 record after their 5-4 non-league loss to Santa Cruz (Santa Cruz, CA).
