Nebraska High School Basketball - Mead crushes Osceola
December 31, 2018: Mead, NE 68041 Mead Raiders (Mead, NE) backers were pleased Monday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Osceola Bulldogs (Osceola, NE), 59-29 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Mead upgrades its record to 5-2 on the campaign. The Raiders host Yutan (Yutan, NE) to play the Chieftains in a C2 District 3 bout on Friday, January 4. The Chieftains come into the bout with a record of 5-3.
Next up, the Bulldogs play the Nebraska Lutheran Knights (Waco, NE) in a C2 District 4 bout, on Friday, January 4. Osceola will attempt to upgrade on its 1-7 season record. The Knights come into the bout with a 4-3 record after their 38-36 non-league loss to Exeter-Milligan (Exeter, NE).
