April 6, 2019: Benton, IL 62812 The Windsor/Stewardson-Strasburg routed the host Benton Rangers softball squad by a count of 11-1 in Saturday's non-league battle.
The (16-0) will now prepare for their battle against Goreville (Goreville, IL). The Blackcats go into the non-league battle with a 8-5 record. In their last battle, Goreville topped Mater Dei (Breese, IL), 12-2, in a non-league battle.
The Rangers now sport a 8-7 record. They play next when they travel to Massac County for a Southern Illinois River-to-River - Ohio bout on Monday, April 8. Benton will confront a Patriots squad coming off a 8-1 non-league loss to Christian County (Hopkinsville, KY). The Patriots record now stands at 8-2.
