The Downingtown East Cougars crushed the visiting Great Valley Patriots baseball team by a count of 10-0 in Monday's league bout.

The Cougars now possess a 12-3 record. They take the field next when they host Downingtown West for a Ches-Mont bout on Wednesday, May 8. Downingtown East will face a Whippets team coming off a 8-4 league loss to Avon Grove (West Grove, PA). The Whippets record now stands at 11-5.

Next, the Patriots face the Unionville Indians (Kennett Square, PA) in a Ches-Mont bout, on Wednesday, May 8. Great Valley will attempt to move on its 2-14 season record. The Indians enter the bout with a 5-12 record after their 3-2 league loss to Oxford (Oxford, PA).
