Biggs Wolverines (Biggs, CA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Portola Tigers (Portola, CA), 22-11 in a league test.

With the win, Biggs upgrades its record to 12-3 on the season.

With the defeat, Portola falls to 6-13 on the season. The Tigers host Esparto (Esparto, CA) to battle the Spartans in a Mountain Valley test on Monday, May 6. The Spartans come into the test with a record of 8-7. Esparto won 10-9 in their recent league test against Maxwell (Maxwell, CA)
