Mountain View Toros (Mesa, AZ) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Poston Butte Broncos (San Tan Valley, AZ), 51-17 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Mountain View upgrades its record to 6-5 on the campaign. The Toros travel to Mesa (Mesa, AZ) to play the Jackrabbits in a 6A East Valley bout on Tuesday, January 8. The Jackrabbits come into the bout with a record of 4-10. Mesa lost 52-19 in their recent non-league bout against Arcadia (Phoenix, AZ)

Next up, the Broncos play the Many Farms Lobos (Many Farms, AZ) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 28. Poston Butte will attempt to upgrade on its 6-9 season record. The Lobos come into the bout with a 2-6 record after their 54-32 league loss to Alchesay (Whiteriver, AZ).
