The Desert Edge Scorpions volleyball team (Goodyear, AZ), was edged 2-1 in Saturday's non-league challenge with the visiting Rincon/University Rangers (Tucson, AZ)

The Rangers (9-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Cienega (Vail, AZ). The Bobcats come into the non-league challenge with a 8-2 record. In their last challenge, Cienega nudged Mountain View (Tucson, AZ), 3-0, in a league challenge.
