Ohio High School Lacrosse - Wilmington drops to Summit Country Day
May 9, 2025: Wilmington, OH 45177 Summit Country Day Silver Knights (Cincinnati, OH) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Friday as they saw their lacrosse team achieve victory over the host Wilmington Hurricane (Wilmington, OH), 9-3 in a non-league game.
With the victory, Summit Country Day advances its record to 3-9 on the season. The Silver Knights travel to Cincinnati Hills Christian Academy (Cincinnati, OH) to play the Eagles in a non-league game on Thursday, May 15. The Eagles come into the game with a record of 8-5. Cincinnati Hills Christian Academy lost 14-7 in their recent league game against Bishop Fenwick (Franklin, OH)
The Hurricane now sport a 0-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Archbishop McNicholas for a Region 8 game on Tuesday, May 13. Wilmington will play a Rockets team coming off a 9-3 non-league loss to Archbishop Alter (Kettering, OH). The Rockets record now stands at 7-9.
