The Troup Tigers basketball team scored 50 points and limited the visiting Arp Tigers to 45 in the Tigers league triumph on Tuesday.

The Tigers now possess a 19-6 record. They play next when they travel to Gladewater for a 3A Region II District 16 game on Friday, January 24. Troup will confront a Bears team coming off a 53-47 league loss to West Rusk (New London, TX). The Bears record now stands at 0-18.

With the loss, Arp falls to 14-5 on the campaign. The Tigers host Tatum (Tatum, TX) to confront the Eagles in a 3A Region II District 16 game on Friday, January 24. The Eagles go into the game with a record of 20-2. Tatum won 93-57 in their recent league game against Sabine (Gladewater, TX)
