Illinois High School Softball - Aurora East knocked off by Rockford East
April 3, 2019: Aurora, IL 60505 In Wednesday's non-league contest, the Rockford East E-Rabs (Rockford, IL) softball team overwhelmed the host Aurora East Tomcats (Aurora, IL), by a margin of 19-2.
With the triumph, Rockford East moves its record to 1-1 on the year. The E-Rabs travel to Dakota (Dakota, IL) to play the Indians in a non-league contest on Saturday, April 6. The Indians come into the contest with a record of 5-2. Dakota won 10-0 in their recent league contest against Pecatonica (Pecatonica, IL)
In their next game, the Tomcats play the Glenbard East Rams (Lombard, IL) in a Upstate Eight contest, on Thursday, April 4. Aurora East will attempt to move on its 3-4 season record. The Rams come into the contest with a 1-2 record after their 11-1 non-league loss to Wheaton-Warrenville South (Wheaton, IL).
