In Friday's non-league game, the Calabasas Coyotes (Calabasas, CA) football team got by the host Sierra Canyon Trailblazers (Chatsworth, CA), by a score of 42-35.

The Coyotes (6-1) will now prepare for their game against Newbury Park (Newbury Park, CA). The Panthers come into the Marmonte game with a 3-4 record. In their last game, Newbury Park was tipped by Oaks Christian (Westlake Village, CA), 55-0, in a league game.

The Trailblazers now sport a 5-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to San Pedro for a non-league game on Friday, October 19.
