The East Burke Cavaliers routed the visiting Southwestern Randolph Cougars basketball team by a final score of 72-39 in Friday's non-league game.

In their next game, the Cavaliers face the Salisbury Hornets (Salisbury, NC) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, March 5. East Burke will attempt to move on its 28-0 season record. The Hornets enter the game with a 20-7 record after their 40-36 non-league win over North Surry (Mount Airy, NC).
