New Jersey High School Basketball - Madison can't hold off Pequannock
December 19, 2022: Pompton Plains, NJ 07444 The Pequannock Golden Panthers basketball team scored 56 points and held the visiting Madison Dodgers to 49 in the Golden Panthers non-league triumph on Monday.
The Golden Panthers now sport a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Parsippany Hills for a non-league contest on Wednesday, December 21. Pequannock will battle a Vikings team coming off a 74-68 non-league win over Bernards (Bernardsville, NJ). The Vikings record now stands at 1-1.
The Dodgers (0-2) will now prepare for their contest against Boonton (Boonton, NJ). The Bombers enter the non-league contest with a 2-0 record. In their last contest, Boonton nudged Morristown-Beard (Morristown, NJ), 61-48, in a league contest.
