Washington, DC High School Lacrosse - Georgetown Day drops to National Cathedral
April 30, 2019: Washington, DC 20007 In Tuesday's league test, the visiting National Cathedral lacrosse squad scored a good 18-6 victory over the Georgetown Day Mighty Hoppers.
The now have a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they host Madeira for a Independent Schools AA test on Thursday, May 2. National Cathedral will face a squad coming off a 16-6 league win over St. Andrew's Episcopal (Potomac, MD). The record now stands at 13-1.
In their next game, the Mighty Hoppers face the Maret Frogs (Washington, DC) in a Independent Schools AA test, on Thursday, May 2. Georgetown Day will attempt to move on its 4-6 season record. The Frogs come into the test with a 0-6 record after their 18-6 non-league loss to Bullis (Potomac, MD).
