Florida High School Softball - Sebastian River nudges Heritage
March 11, 2019: Sebastian, FL 32958 Sebastian River Sharks (Sebastian, FL) fans exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Heritage Panthers (Palm Bay, FL), 2-1 in a league challenge.
The Sharks now sport a 8-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Melbourne for a 7A District 6 challenge on Wednesday, March 13. Sebastian River will face a Bulldogs squad coming off a 6-1 non-league win over Eau Gallie (Melbourne, FL). The Bulldogs record now stands at 10-3.
With the loss, Heritage falls to 6-4 on the campaign. The Panthers host Palm Bay (Melbourne, FL) to face the Pirates in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, March 13. The Pirates enter the challenge with a record of 1-9. Palm Bay lost 8-2 in their recent non-league challenge against Bayside (Palm Bay, FL)
