In Monday's non-league outing, the A.L. Brown Wonders (Kannapolis, NC) basketball squad edged the host North Stanly Comets (New London, NC), by a margin of 60-56.

The Wonders (4-4) will now prepare for their outing against West Rowan (Mt. Ulla, NC). The Falcons go into the non-league outing with a 4-4 record. In their last outing, West Rowan held off Mooresville (Mooresville, NC), 79-62, in a non-league outing.

The Comets now own a 5-3 record. They play next when they host North Moore for a Yadkin Valley 1A outing on Tuesday, January 2.
