Illinois High School Basketball - Dunlap nudges Peoria
January 3, 2018: Dunlap, IL 61525 Dunlap Eagles (Dunlap, IL) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Peoria Lions (Peoria, IL), 54-53 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Dunlap upgrades its record to 4-10 on the season. The Eagles host Metamora (Metamora, IL) to clash with the Redbirds in a Mid-Illini bout on Saturday, January 6. The Redbirds go into the bout with a record of 6-4. Metamora lost 48-46 in their recent non-league bout against Hononegah (Rockton, IL)
Next up, the Lions clash with the Richwoods Knights (Peoria, IL) in a Big Twelve bout, on Saturday, January 6. Peoria will attempt to upgrade on its 5-7 season record. The Knights go into the bout with a 9-4 record after their 55-46 league loss to Normal West (Normal, IL).
