Virginia High School Basketball - Benedictine nips Atlantic Shores Christian
February 8, 2019: Chesapeake, VA 23320 Benedictine Cadets (Richmond, VA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Atlantic Shores Christian Seahawks (Chesapeake, VA), 43-37 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Benedictine upgrades its record to 10-19 on the season. The Cadets travel to Great Bridge Christian Academy (Chesapeake, VA) to play the Eagles in a non-league bout on Saturday, February 9. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 23-7. Great Bridge Christian Academy won 66-33 in their recent league bout against Summit Christian Academy (Yorktown, VA)
Next up, the Seahawks play the Williamsburg Christian Academy Eagles (Williamsburg, VA) in a VISAA Division 3 bout, on Saturday, February 9. Atlantic Shores Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 12-19 season record. The Eagles go into the bout with a 9-13 record after their 75-73 league win over Portsmouth Christian (Portsmouth, VA).
