North Carolina High School Softball - Carrboro knocked off by North Carolina School of Science & Math
April 13, 2016: Carrboro, NC 27510 In Wednesday's non-league contest, the North Carolina School of Science & Math Unicorns (Durham, NC) softball team overwhelmed the host Carrboro Jaguars (Carrboro, NC), by a margin of 19-8.
With the triumph, North Carolina School of Science & Math moves its record to 3-7 on the year. The Unicorns travel to Bunn (Bunn, NC) to play the Wildcats in a Northern Carolina 2A contest on Friday, April 15. The Wildcats come into the contest with a record of 11-2. Bunn won 15-2 in their recent league contest against Southern Vance (Henderson, NC)
In their next game, the Jaguars play the Reidsville Rams (Reidsville, NC) in a Mid-State 2A contest, on Thursday, April 14. Carrboro will attempt to move on its 3-7 season record. The Rams come into the contest with a 6-9 record after their 22-1 non-league loss to Morehead (Eden, NC).
