The Houston Math Science & Tech Tigers basketball team scored 52 points and held the visiting Westside Wolves to 47 in the Tigers league triumph on Friday.
The Tigers now sport a 22-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Mickey Leland College Preparatory Academy for Young Men for a 6A Region III District 18 contest on Wednesday, January 30. Houston Math Science & Tech will battle a Knights team coming off a 39-26 league win over Chavez (Houston, TX). The Knights record now stands at 5-14.
The Wolves (13-15) will now prepare for their contest against Bellaire (Bellaire, TX). The Cardinals enter the 6A Region III District 18 contest with a 16-12 record. In their last contest, Bellaire was nudged by Lamar (Houston, TX), 82-77, in a league contest.
