In Friday's non-league game, the Paradise Honors Panthers (Surprise, AZ) football team knocked off the visiting Thatcher Eagles (Thatcher, AZ), by a score of 35-14.

The Panthers (1-0) will now prepare for their game against Mohave (Bullhead City, AZ). The Thunderbirds come into the non-league game with a 1-0 record. In their last game, Mohave toppled Bourgade Catholic (Phoenix, AZ), 75-6, in a non-league game.

The Eagles now sport a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they host Crismon for a non-league game on Friday, August 25. Thatcher will battle a team coming off a 40-0 non-league loss to Benjamin Franklin (Queen Creek, AZ). The record now stands at 0-1.
