With the victory, Heritage Christian advances its record to 7-0 on the year. The Eagles host First Baptist Academy (Universal City, TX) to meet the Eagles in a TAPPS 1A District 6 battle on Saturday, January 25. The Eagles enter the battle with a record of 14-12.
The Eagles now own a 4-11 record. They put it on the line next when they host River City Believers Academy for a non-league battle on Tuesday, January 21. Gateway Christian will meet a Soldiers squad coming off a 37-33 league win over Waterloo (Austin, TX). The Soldiers record now stands at 6-10.
