Mingus Marauders (Cottonwood, AZ) fans exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the host Cactus Cobras (Glendale, AZ), 12-1 in a non-league challenge.

The Marauders now sport a 1-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Shadow Mountain for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, March 6. Mingus will face a Matadors squad coming off a 10-3 non-league loss to Paradise Valley (Phoenix, AZ). The Matadors record now stands at 1-3.

With the loss, Cactus falls to 1-3 on the campaign. The Cobras travel to Coronado (Scottsdale, AZ) to face the Dons in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, March 6. The Dons enter the challenge with a record of 0-4. Coronado lost 27-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Agua Fria (Avondale, AZ)
