In Thursday's league contest, the visiting Parkdale Panthers basketball team scored a big 68-40 win over the Northwestern Wildcats.

The Panthers (5-9) will now prepare for their contest against Bowie (Bowie, MD). The Bulldogs come into the Prince George's County 4A contest with a 9-4 record. In their last contest, Bowie was trounced by Wise (Upper Marlboro, MD), 64-46, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Wildcats battle the Bladensburg Mustangs (Bladensburg, MD) in a Prince George's County 4A contest, on Monday, February 3. Northwestern will attempt to better on its 1-10 season record. The Mustangs come into the contest with a 4-11 record after their 63-53 league loss to Suitland (Forestville, MD).
