Texas High School Basketball - University trounces Corsicana

The University Trojans (Waco, TX) basketball crushed the visiting Corsicana Tigers (Corsicana, TX), 49-24 in Tuesday's league test.

The Trojans (19-8) will now prepare for their test against Red Oak (Red Oak, TX). The Hawks go into the 5A Region II District 14 test with a 21-5 record. In their last test, Red Oak walloped Corsicana (Corsicana, TX), 71-29, in a league test.

The Tigers now own a 5-14 record. They play next when they host Cleburne for a 5A Region II District 14 test on Friday, January 11. Corsicana will encounter a Yellowjackets squad coming off a 71-51 league win over Ennis (Ennis, TX). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 20-7.
