Washington High School Basketball - North Kitsap holds off Port Angeles
January 26, 2023: Port Angeles, WA 98362 Fans at Thursday's league challenge between the North Kitsap Vikings (Poulsbo, WA) and the host Port Angeles Roughriders (Port Angeles, WA), saw North Kitsap's basketball squad hold off Port Angeles by a tally of 51-44.
With the victory, North Kitsap improves its record to 14-5 on the campaign. The Vikings host Bremerton (Bremerton, WA) to confront the Knights in a 2A Olympic challenge on Tuesday, January 31. The Knights come into the challenge with a record of 4-12. Bremerton lost 60-33 in their recent league challenge against Bainbridge (Bainbridge Island, WA)
Next up, the Roughriders confront the Kingston Buccaneers (Kingston, WA) in a 2A Olympic challenge, on Tuesday, January 31. Port Angeles will attempt to improve on its 13-6 season record. The Buccaneers come into the challenge with a 3-13 record after their 69-54 non-league loss to Archbishop Murphy (Everett, WA).
