Fans at Thursday's league challenge between the Washington Township Senators (Valparaiso, IN) and the visiting Hebron Hawks (Hebron, IN), saw Washington Township's basketball squad hold off Hebron by a count of 52-46.

With the victory, Washington Township upgrades its record to 11-5 on the campaign. The Senators travel to Lake Station Edison (Lake Station, IN) to play the Fighting Eagles in a non-league challenge on Saturday, February 8. The Fighting Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 9-7. Lake Station Edison lost 92-65 in their recent non-league challenge against Kouts (Kouts, IN)

Next up, the Hawks play the Kankakee Valley Kougars (Wheatfield, IN) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, February 14. Hebron will attempt to move on its 12-4 season record. The Kougars enter the match with a 6-12 record after their 78-61 non-league loss to LaPorte (LaPorte, IN).
