In Friday's non-league contest, the host Second Baptist Eagles basketball team scored a good 71-59 triumph over the Northland Christian Cougars.

The Eagles (16-2) will now prepare for their contest against The Woodlands Christian Academy (The Woodlands, TX). The Warriors go into the non-league contest with a 9-3 record. In their last contest, The Woodlands Christian Academy topped St. Francis Episcopal (Houston, TX), 64-54, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Cougars confront the Legacy School of Sport Sciences Maroon Titans (Spring, TX) in a non-league contest, on Friday, December 27.
