In Friday's non-league test, the Meridian Wildcats (Meridian, MS) softball squad overwhelmed the host Forrest County Agricultural Aggies (Brooklyn, MS), by a tally of 13-3.

Next, the Wildcats clash with the Forest Bearcats (Forest, MS) in a non-league test, on Saturday, March 29. Meridian will attempt to advance on its 4-9 season record. The Bearcats go into the test with a 3-12 record after their 22-0 league loss to Northeast Jones (Laurel, MS).

The Aggies (6-21) will now prepare for their test against Our Lady Academy (Bay St. Louis, MS). The Crescents go into the non-league test with a 5-12 record. In their last test, Our Lady Academy was routed by West Marion (Foxworth, MS), 21-1, in a league test.
