New Jersey High School Basketball - Atlantic County Institute of Tech thwarts Newark Academy
December 29, 2017: Mays Landing, NJ The Atlantic County Institute of Tech (Mays Landing, NJ) basketball knocked off the visiting Newark Academy Minutemen (Livingston, NJ), 51-42 in Friday's non-league test.
The (2-2) will now prepare for their test against Vineland (Vineland, NJ). The Fighting Clan go into the Cape/Atlantic - American test with a 3-2 record. In their last test, Vineland notched a victory over Pennsauken (Pennsauken, NJ), 51-46, in a non-league test.
The Minutemen now own a 2-2 record. They play next when they travel to Glasgow for a non-league test on Saturday, December 30. Newark Academy will encounter a Dragons squad coming off a 56-5 non-league loss to Absegami (Galloway, NJ). The Dragons record now stands at 0-8.
